Bipolar and Unipolar Disorders – Understanding Through Inclusion
We place great importance on inclusion, and that starts with language. Mutual understanding is essential for better coexistence. That’s why we embrace linguistic diversity, ensuring that as many people as possible can access and engage with our content.
This portal is multilingual—you can select your preferred language with one click by using the green language buttonat the top or by clicking on the globe icon. The primary translations include the homepage and the network page, with additional documents under the Psycho-Wiki section gradually being translated and linked. This ensures a comprehensive overview of bipolar and unipolar disorders. Our goal is to make information accessible and raise awareness of these conditions.
📌 Why is this important?
Spreading awareness and engaging with these topics plays a key role in reducing stigma. Mental health conditions are a part of our society—the more people know, the more understanding and acceptance can grow.
Together, we are building an open, supportive, and well-informed community. 💙
Our Starting Point: Café Goethe in Homburg / Saar
The Café Goethe in Homburg / Saar, located in the beautiful Saarland—right in the heart of Europe—is the starting point for our activities. Known for its psychosocial projects, it provides a wide range of self-help groups.
Our initial goal is to establish a local network of self-help groups in Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse, Baden-Württemberg, Alsace, Lorraine, and Northern Switzerland. This cross-border network extends over a radius of 300 km, fostering an exchange of ideas and experiences to build a stronger community.
